THE LIFE-CHANGING MAGIC OF RECLAIMING THE DINING TABLE
the brief
Working closely with digital PR, strategy and creative teams, I was tasked with producing a data-led content piece for Furniture Village in order to garner backlinks and bring home the (SEO-related) bacon. The piece was to centre around the fact the UK is steadily falling out of love with those wholesome, dining-table mealtimes from times gone by. A detailed survey was commissioned, and expert influencers were brought on board to give the piece that authoritative oomph.
thoughts
It’s great to get to work with surveys – it means proper, unique stats can go into a piece that no one else has had a go at spinning yet. Crunching the data and turning it into a narrative can be a challenge, but it’s one that feels very satisfying when all’s complete. I also got to work with some pretty cool experts who really know their stuff (a psychologist and a nutritional therapist), which was a great way to bring this piece to life and give it that headline-grabbing credibility. Nice.
